Visit-X Review

Visit-X is one of several go-to spots for amateur German cams. 

This hub is headquartered in Amsterdam and since its launch, it’s focused on the European market – both in terms of the talent it recruits and the customers it serves.

You can find other streamers here, and it’s a global platform, but for our money, this is best visited by those who have a specific interest in German camgirls. 

Since MyDirtyHobby is its closest rival in terms of the talent pool, we’ll consider Visit-X within the context of how it stacks up against it.

It is worth mentioning that alongside the live cams, Visit-X also has a huge quantity of videos that you can grab. There are close to 150,000 videos here – all from verified amateur girls, many of whom stream on the webcam portal regularly.

Model Selection

Most of the performers are German or from other European countries – this means that you’re going to have a huge variance in the number of online cams depending on when you watch. 

At around 5 a.m. CET, you’ll find 100ish models online – this can go up to 250 during peak hours (5-7 p.m. CET). 

Within the context of flat numbers, Visit-X lags behind rivals such as Chaturbate, BongaCams, CamSoda and so on. 

If we’re just looking at streamers domiciled in Germany, it shares the top spot with MyDirtyHobby – they typically have equal numbers of live sex cams.

Female Performers

There were 100 online shows when we visited, 82 of these were in the ‘woman’ category. 

You’ve got a number of different filtering options offered to hone in on the type of action you’re looking for. 

During previous visits, a dropdown was provided to organize the streams – this has since changed to a sidebar. They’re both functionally similar: the current version doesn’t seem like a huge upgrade, but it’s not strictly worse either.

Since it was real early in the morning in Germany, the website actually had more Colombian camgirls than Germans. 

Somewhat confusingly, there’s no country filter for Colombia here – nor does ticking ‘Latina’ result in many results. 

We’re not sure why so many Colombians aren’t in the Latina section: okay, they’re technically Hispanic, but we’re watching sex cams here, not writing an essay on ethnic divisions and migration patterns.

We’d say that the Latinas on Visit-X tend to be a little bit more professional – our hunch is that they’re recruited from another service to stream on this platform as well as others (we saw quite a few camgirls we’ve seen on other websites). 

They have good lighting, high quality cameras, remote control cameras and keyboards – that type of thing. 

However, the German talent here is a little more girl-next-door. It’s a subtle difference, but it’s there: the Euro ladies on Visit-X are more amateur.

Male Performers

While there is a male category here and a few offline previews – no dudes were online when we visited. The first time we reviewed Visit-X, we had the same experience. 

We don’t think it’s worth talking about what types of male cam performers are available here – go elsewhere if you want to watch men in action.

Trans Performers

One thing the new sidebar tool offers is the ability to filter for trans performers: the previous dropdown sorting didn’t have this, so that’s a massive improvement. 

Still – the number of trans girls left quite a bit to be desired. Six trans girls in total: an equal split between South Americans and Asians. We appreciate that this is a small number of performers to draw conclusions from, but all of these trans girls were really good. 

In recent years, it would appear that Visit-X has recruited some stellar Pinay trans girls: they’re fast becoming a major market for dudes who like T-girls, and X-Visit has a small, but impressive, selection of trans girls in this category.

Couples

Sadly, the facelift this platform received didn’t translate into a section for couples. 

We saw two performing: a gay couple and a straight cis couple. 

Other platforms have dozens of couples available at any one time, and the selection here is too small to be competitive in any fashion.

Live Shows

Much like MyDirtyHobby, Visit-X has nothing for those who want to visit and try things out for free. 

On Visit-X, you’ll be prompted to create an account early, and even when you do that – no free chat. 

We’re always skeptical of this approach to stream distribution – it seems objectively inferior for the consumer and the camgirls.

You can get a free five seconds of access five times per day, but only if you’ve previously added money to your account or have an active VIP membership. 

There’s stingy and there’s whatever this is: if you’re not willing to pay for cams, don’t bother with Visit-X.

Live Chat

This is the first level of stream access: it’s similar to how free chats work on other websites, only it’s not free – you pay per minute.

Others can join in as and when they want, but because of this structure, you’re likely going to be on your own in most instances. 

We tested out four camgirls and pay for the per-minute pleasure: no one else was with us. 

Based on our experience, models tend to treat this like a private session elsewhere – they’ll get naked for you, play with themselves and whatever else.

You pay for sessions on Visit-X with Euros – models set their own rates. Interestingly enough, the cost of action on this site is far more clustered than elsewhere. 

Out of the top 20 girls, only one had a price outside the range of €1.80 to €2.30 per minute. You’re going to pay around 2 Euros per minute for most of the performers on Visit-X.

Cam to cam is provided for free: no additional upsell.

Private Chat

The second level of access is the private chat feature – in most instances, this costs more, although you’ll be in complete control of the action and no one else can butt in. 

Note that there is a voyeur option, so it’s not true private, but unlike the standard live chat, they cannot type in chat or control the action. 

We spent quite a few hours on Visit-X and only saw one instance of a voyeur chat being open – we don’t think private sessions here are too popular, mainly because ‘live chat’ serves the same purpose for a lower cost.

Voyeur Cam

You can’t type, but you get access to audio and video. 

Some camgirls give you a good discount for being a voyeur – others have them at the same per-minute rates. It’s an uncommon way to access material on Visit-X, so if you’re into the whole voyeur thing – better places to get it.

Ticket Live Shows

Performers can opt to start up ticketed cam shows – these are premium events planned ahead of time that you buy access to.

You’ll find a couple per day, they say that they last 15 minutes – we’ve seen two shows now, both of them ran over the allotted time.

Three of the shows above were €5, the other was €10. We think that these offer great value for money – especially since you’re told ahead of time what the niche and theme is going to be. 

These ticketed shows typically come from experienced models with great setups – worth considering.

Stream Quality

Ticketed shows seem to run at 1080p – at least, the ones we watched did. 

Elsewhere, cams appeared to be 720p, but we had a real tough time accessing the live stream files to get a definitive answer. 

We’re usually pretty good when it comes to this stuff, but yeah – our best estimate is that the top-end quality here, outside of the ticketed shows, is 720p with a bitrate of 1.5 Mb/s on average. 

It definitely doesn’t feel as crisp or clean as other spots – particularly those with 1080p as their main output.

We expect the highest possible qualities from platforms that are always charging per-minute, since paid users don’t have to subsidize free visitors’ bandwidth. It’s literally pennies per hour to offer 1080p – surely if someone’s paying hundreds of Euros, they deserve the best of the best? 

Hell, we’d even be pressing a spot with this setup to have 1440p cams.

Streams were delayed. 

You’ll type a message and it takes some time for the model to respond. 

We literally ran tests (asking models to hold up a number of fingers as soon as we sent a message) and there was at least 3 seconds of delay across the board. Visit-X needs to do better here – as well as offering people the ability to change the format of the streams. Right now, you get one resolution/bitrate and that’s that.

Latinas here tend to be more pro than the Germans, who come across as more amateur in their setups and environments.

Site Design

The platform has a few issues, but on the whole, it’s okay to use. 

What we do appreciate is that in the last few months, they’ve changed the cam filters, with an addition of a trans category. 

In this instance, it’s less about the direct accessibility improvement and more about the fact that they’re bothering to make changes. Plenty of platforms (Cams.com, CamSoda) have failed to make needed changes despite having years to do so.

We dislike the fact that you don’t see live stream previews – this is likely because of the fact that all shows here require payment. 

The site can also take a few seconds to load new pages every so often: streams also had a delay before popping up. The interface and navigational tools are all modern, but it’s lacking that X factor. 

A few changes and it could be awesome.

Live Chat UX

Let’s give you a look behind the curtain:

We’ve spent money to access this part of the website, so we want to make sure you know what it looks like! 

Overall, it’s clean and simple: no crazy buttons, silly colors, chat spam or any of that nonsense. 

It’s a tad too close to being clinical for our taste, but it’s better to err on the side of simplicity than do eyesore stuff like MyFreeCams.

The biggest issue we have is that there’s no way to see what your balance is. We understand that this makes you spend more, but it seems underhanded. 

We like to credit platforms that do the right thing, and when that’s done with a little dip in revenue – it’s commendable. 

Things are great as-is, but it could be even better if they displayed remaining funds and included the option for you to change stream resolution.

Mobile UX

First impressions matter, so we tend to judge mobile camming platforms extensively on how things look as soon as you land on the homepage.

Yeah – we’re not fans in the slightest. 

Firstly: missing features because we’re in English? That’s not cool. 

Second up – no immediate visibility of the camgirls who are online. 

Rival platforms tend to show at least 6 models, if not 8, that you can immediately click on. We feel that Visit-X would just be so much better if they stopped doing things differently. There’s a reason why so many of the biggest sites are quite similar to one another: it works.

We will give credit to the fact that you can put a stream into full-screen mode on a mobile device: many big spots online don’t have this. Holding your phone vertically is okay, but the horizontal rendering and platform organization is much better if you’re willing to go sideways.

There’s a delay for streams loading: it’s even longer than it is on the desktop version of the website. The mobile chat UX is fine when it eventually loads up.

Let’s look at the extra bits and bobs that you’ll get on Visit-X.

Media Sales

In the header, there’s a link to Visit-X’s ‘video station’: they’ve got a sizable quantity of uploads here, all from a variety of girls, though Germany is their content focus. 

Most of what’s offered here is homemade media – self-managed models who might also stream on the cam platform. 

We’d say that MyDirtyHobby is more geared toward content than Visit-X is, but with a bunch of free clips and paid-for releases (Around 150,000 uploads as of April 2024), it’s not like this place lacks prerecorded media.

You’ll find hardcore uploads, but there’s a bias toward solo media. 

Footjob dildo play, nude hiking, JOI from a mistress – that type of thing. Girls love to use toys here instead of men, but boy/girl scenes are offered.

We couldn’t find a single upload that appeared as if it came from a studio – that is to say that all releases here come from the girls who performed in the content.

Interactive Sex Toys

Want to activate a Lovense or OhMiBod remotely? No problem. Here’s what the tip menu looks like:

Toy uptake isn’t the best, and in addition to that – the prices, intensity levels and durations are all fixed. 

We’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating: sites with the best interfaces and integrations for sex toys end up having the most ridiculous costs and restrictive settings. 

Chaturbate and BongaCams have toys connected via dialup modems and spaghetti coded through the chat interface, but punters get to buzz pussies for pennies!

You’re already paying for everything else: would it really be that much of an issue if you could activate a toy for less than a Euro? 

The infrastructure is there already – let models dictate the prices, lengths and intensities as they see fit!

Action-to-Spend

Yeah – this figure shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. 

If you’re not willing to spend money from the get go, Visit-X doesn’t have much for you. 

The cam shows themselves are about average in terms of the industry rate – we do like that most models cost the same (around 2 Euros per minute), but when you factor in the cost prohibitive toy activations – yeah, it’s not great.

We think that Visit-X should adopt a more traditional approach. Let camgirls have control over the finances and setup of their shows: if they’re willing to perform for free for a while, let them. 

The top girls on Chaturbate, StripChat and so on rarely go into private shows – they’re more than happy taking tips for huge public shows. There’s no reason why Visit-X can’t do the same thing.

The shows you can purchase tickets for are great value for money – that much we will give them credit for. 

Every day, you can spend 5 Euros and see some top tier entertainment. For guys that want a daily jerk in the CET time zone, we’d nudge you toward this.

There are no tokens or credits here: you pay in Euros, regardless of where you are.

When purchasing Euros, your card will be charged in EUR – banks will take a small cut in most instances, but if you’ve got a card that can handle this (TransferWise, etc.), you’ll get the mid-market rate. 

Some rival platforms charge a huge premium and profit from the currency switch: Visit-X gets a thumbs-up from us with how they handle it.

You’ll purchase Euros here in packages of 30, 60, 100 or 150 Euros.

In the last 6 months, Visit-X has added quite a few payment options. We appreciate cryptocurrency being supported, but at times, BTC can be incredibly expensive to transfer and it’s also real slow. 

They’d get a slightly higher score if they included ETH, DOGE, XRP, BNB and LTC for those that want lower fees and quicker finality.

Refund Policy

We looked all over the website for any information on refunds: we were unable to find details. Most places won’t give you any refunds no matter what, but that should be made explicit if it’s the case.

Discreet Billing

Our bank statement threw up a reference to 'video chat services'.

Red flag from the get go: if you’ve got a curious spouse who checks your statement, there’s a good chance they’ll know that this is a little suspect. 

We tried Googling the exact phrase and nothing came up – there’s a touch of plausible deniability here, but it could be way better.

We think it’s fair to say that Visit-X’s billing is not discreet.

If you’re looking for German amateurs, Visit-X and MDH go head to head: we don’t have a preference for either spot and think they’re both decent options. 

That said, for free camming access and girls from elsewhere in the world, we think that most rival cam spots give you a better experience. There’s nothing here that really stands out as being awesome.

Competition at the top is fierce. 

If Visit-X had no rivals – this place would be awesome.

However, there are better places to get your daily fix of cams, outside of an intense desire and need for paid cam to cam action, in private, with German amateurs.

The content shop here is a small value-add, but a perfect camming hub this is not.
