Best Gay Cam Sites

A huge part of the active roster is male cams. There are just as many male performers as females. The official line is 60% women, 40% men -- but it feels closer to an equal split.

Around 10% of StripChat's huge database is male cams. The majority of these are 'bisexual', but we're not buying those numbers.

During our most recent visit, 684 men were online. Of these shows, 481 were tagged bisexual, 106 gay and 97 straight. A closer inspection of the top 20 shows revealed that nearly all of them were dominated by men in the chat. Maybe there are some women tuning in, but we didn't spot any! 

It's safe to say this is a happy hunting ground for gay cam action.

Flirt4Free has an impressively high ratio of male-to-female performers. During our last two visits, we found the ratio of men clocking in at 27% and 32% respectively. It's not clear if the platform has a clear 'type' in its male recruitment process, but to the naked eye, the emphasis is very much on muscles, muscles, muscles. At least 80% of the men on display tick the box of hunky rather than cute. 

Male cams make up around 10% of the active models on Streamate. This typically results in around 100-150 male cams live at any given time.

The majority of Streamate's male models are from LATAM, with Colombia providing by far the most options. The United States and Romania are also well represented.

While the most popular tag is 'bisexual', the content is clearly targeted at gay men. Streamate's male models are slightly more edgy than the ladies in the type of shows they'll put out for free.

Jerkmate is a good source of male cams and has a well-rounded selection of models, albeit with over 50% of the performers in the Latino category (many of them Colombian).

The male cams are broken in to four main categories, based on age: young (18+), mature, old and grandpa. The "old" category has the most models, but this isn't reflected in the models we saw online. While female users might enjoy the action on offer, it's quite clear to see: these shows are targeted primarily at a gay male audience. 

We expected LiveJasmin's market dominance would serve up a decent selection of male cams, but this area of the site is notably lacking.

We found an average of 50-60 men streaming, a tiny number when you consider LJ has had 20 years to build up its male roster. We can only assume that this market is considered an after-thought by their decision makers.

Unlike the female cams, male cams are much more concentrated in the LATAM region. It's not possible to view exact nationalities, but we're guessing most of the performers are Colombian. Some of the males appear to be 'extras' who are only there to perform with their partners.

There are options on BongaCams for those who want to see dudes – but it’s really nothing to write home about. Camboys here tend to be South American and gay. Their profiles say ‘bisexual’ most of the time, but they’re doing this not to limit themselves to just a male audience. Sampling the streams, it’s quite clear that these are almost entirely gay men.

72 male streams were available, which is around 5% of the total online talent pool. Stream quality from these guys is worse than the average female.

21 of the webcams we saw were men: the quality really suffered here compared to the women, although that’s almost always the nature when it comes to guys streaming cams.

In most instances, these are just dudes who want to jerk off and might make a few bucks from someone watching them. The quality of men here was below other platforms: a lot of overweight guys with choppy webcams and bad lighting.

Around 40 streams on CamSoda featured solo men. The average quality here is pretty low. It’s mostly faceless dudes jerking and doing it for fun, as opposed to being a regular source of income.

The men here are mostly South American and almost entirely gay. That said, we saw black guys, white dudes and even an Indian in women’s clothes. Two female performers were also incorrectly tagged and displayed here.

Slim pickings to say the very least – a total of 13 guys were online. Having said that, the top 4 men were pretty damn attractive – one guy was clearly a pro and had a fantastic body. 

Note that 11 of the guys tagged their profiles in the ‘gay’ category – the other two must’ve forgotten. Ladies, you might be able to suspend disbelief, but if you’re looking for a straight dude who streams live sex – this isn’t the spot to get what you want.

There are two groups of guys who stream on IMLive: muscly studs and twinks. Twinks tend to be South American and the hunks are from elsewhere.

The male sex cammers here are either incredibly hot and lean or they're just normal guys looking to make a few bucks and, more likely, just get off on being watched while they jerk it.

Only 5 to 10 people get online per day, though, so we don't think this is an ideal spot for those who want to watch guys on camera.

We found just 4 dudes online when we visited – that’s nowhere near enough to justify visiting if you’re a gay man who’s only interested in other guys. It’s pretty hard to infer any theme here: you’ll see South American twinks, hairy daddies, muscly black guys and femboys.

The streams don’t have high production values – it’s mainly dudes at their desks just jerking off.

Just one solitary male performer online.

We checked on several occasions - same outcome: barely any male streams.

If we look at the 'offline' streams, there are over 760 male models registered on ePlay. But the ratio of active male streams is one of the lowest we've seen.

There were only five guys online when we visited – slim pickings is an understatement.

All of the guys here appear to be gay: one was an older daddy, the rest were South American twinks.

There were a couple of German men online and a guy from Spain. It would appear that Spanish and Portuguese men do pretty well here, but that’s all relative: it’s evident that there’s not a lot of demand here for guys.

The guys that do stream here tend to be gay: there’s a small market for guys in general, but an even smaller one for dudes who like chicks. The site does have filtering options for straight, gay and bisexual – it would appear that everyone just selects all three, since flipping between these didn’t change a thing. The male performers don’t put much effort into their shows.

While there is a male category here and a few offline previews – no dudes were online when we visited. The first time we reviewed Visit-X, we had the same experience.

We don’t think it’s worth talking about what types of male cam performers are available here – go elsewhere if you want to watch men in action.
