One of our favorites for a premium cam2cam experience. This site is particularly popular with fetish models -- you can indulge in some 'alternative' shows on a really intimate level.

The standard private chat starts at 30-60 credits per minute ($3 to $5.50); exclusive is charged extra. While you can enable cam-to-cam in either environment, the standard private chat can be accessed by 'voyeurs'. They won't be able to see you, of course, but they might cramp your style.

Streamate is all about private cam shows, so it's no surprise to see the site scoring well in the Cam2Cam category. The majority of models here are happy to indulge in two-way video chat.

Expect to pay a premium of around 20-30% for exclusive private chat. This means you'll have the model's full and undivided attention. Highly recommended if you want to take advantage of the integrated Cam2Cam feature.

IMLive is a very popular 'bargain' option for video chat. 

Cam2cam is accepted by most models at no extra cost.

When you enter a private room, a little checkbox under the preview thumbnail says, "I don't want to be seen on my webcam." Unchecking the box will prompt your webcam to load. We dislike the double negative but appreciate the all-inclusive C2C.

Cam2cam is enabled in Private rooms on a first-come first-served basis. If you're the first in the room, you can switch on your camera and audio for the model. If you join and somebody else is already sharting theirs, no dice. 

Xclusive Shows are a good alternative. No one else can join and you can take full control of any activated sex toys. These typically cost 20-100% more than the standard private shows ($1-$2 per minute). Mobile cam2cam is available too.

It peddles the Streamate database, which is well-known for high-quality cam2cam shows. The models here are typically ready and waiting for any cam2cam requests.

JerkMate offers the same basic service as Streamate, but we prefer the original Streamate interface. 

Cam-to-cam in private chat is available, and you don’t need to pay extra to enable it. However, not all models are keen on this chat mode and many prefer to rely on tips in the public rooms.

Sadly, there’s no way to filter camgirls based on their private show rates. To try and gauge an average, we looked at the latest 15 models who just went live: their prices were between 35 tokens and 130 tokens per minute for a private chat. Tokens cost roughly 5 cents each, so this translates into a per-minute rate of $1.75 to $6.5 per minute. Models tend to charge an extra 10 to 30 credits for full private (necessary for cam2cam).

The top models prefer to broadcast in public to maximise tips. Still, we found plenty of lower ranked performers who were willing to do cam2cam.

Models charge extra for video chat in private and set their own rates. The few we saw advertised were upselling 5 to 10 tokens per minute, so you’re looking at anywhere from $0.50 to $1.00 extra if you want to share. This is on top of the average private show cost, which is around $2.70 per minute.

Cherry includes 1:1 Video Call as part of its Exclusive Private Shows. You can't turn your camera on in an ordinary private session.

While a typical private show will cost between $2-$3 per minute, models set custom rates for Exclusive Private ranging from a premium of 15%-100%. Note that these shows come with a minimum duration, too (normally 10 minutes).

Cam2Cam is available in both private shows and as a public show extra. If you choose to turn it on in a public show, there's no guarantee that the model will actually see you - she has to navigate to your username via the chatroom 'leaderboard'.

There's no extra charge to turn on your camera in a private show.

This is the bread and butter of SecretFriends. You'll pay credits to watch a performer on a per-minute basis and the girls get to set their rates for a private show.

Rates at SecretFriends seem to be only divisible by 1: this means that privates are typically set at a rate of 2 or 3 credits per minute. Credits are $1 each, and almost all of the shows were at 2, so you're normally paying $2 per minute. Pretty decent value.

If you want to ensure it's just you and the model (and no one else can spy), you'll need to upgrade to a VIP show. This adds an additional $1 per minute.

You can activate cam2cam in any chat mode - not just the private shows, although those are your best bet if you want her to pay attention.

Girls charge 25 to 50 tokens per minute for privates. You’re looking at around $1 for 10 tokens, so expect to pay $2.5 to $5 per minute. We could turn on our webcam for an additional charge of 9 tokens per minute (just under $1).

Cam-to-cam here is free, but hosts aren't required to enable it. In practice, all five girls we tested the platform with were willing to offer cam-to-cam sessions.

Enabling it was simple enough and the camgirls had no issues with visual clarity or audio quality.

Cam2Cam is available in exclusive private mode for a fixed price of $2.10. It's certainly cheap, but this negates the appeal for models. We'd like to see flexible pricing to help balance supply and demand.

There are no extra charges for cam2cam on Cam4, however models are incentivised to set their price in the form of tips. This means the cost will change... model by model, hour by hour.

You can narrow down your focus by using the popular #C2C tag (prominent on the navbar). This returns the models who are most likely to be open to a video chat - but it's no guarantee. If a performer has a large audience and the tips are rolling in, she's unlikely to be moved.

Cam2cam is only available in VIP Shows, and not all models have it turned on.

We found no discernible tags or categories for filtering models that offer C2C, so our only option was to enter chats individually and ask. VIP shows typically cost 20 credits ($3.80 per minute). 

Cam2Cam is provided free on Visit-X, with no upsells or additional charges. Given that private shows are typically priced low around €1.80 to €2.30 per minute, this is a pretty sweet deal.

Unfortunately, we encountered buffer and stream delay in our cam2cam sessions. We asked models to hold up a number of fingers as soon as we sent a message, and there was at least 3 seconds of delay across the board.

StripChat offers two-way interaction where you can enable your own cam in a video call. This also inflates the average price.

At the low end, video calls start at around $3 per minute. Expect to pay $7-$12 for the proven performers. Most models prefer to make their money from tips in the public rooms, or from one-to-many private shows.

Cam2Cam is available, but not very common - just tap Start Broadcasting and the model will be able to see you. Not every model is keen on this arrangement so ask her beforehand.

From a model's perspective, Chaturbate is all about getting as many paying customers in a room as possible. There's less emphasis on private shows since they can make more money in public. You'll have to tip pretty generously to get her to pay attention to your own cam.

If you want a one-to-one conversation with the model, you can pay for exclusive chat, which costs 2.2 points per minute ($4.40). Cam2Cam costs an additional 0.5 points per minute, bringing the total up to $5.40 per minute.

Keep in mind: these models are mostly young Japanese women with very limited English. Cam2Cam is a decent communication ice-breaker, but it can feel stilted if you're also using the auto-translation tool.

MFC has a 'free' cam2cam option if you are a premium member, but the majority of performers aren't particularly interested in going private unless you offer a sizeable tip.

If you want to lock other users out of your private show, you'll need to pay an extra 20 credits (80 / $8 per minute total) for exclusivity. MFC is not cheap for private shows at the best of times. Turning your session in to a two-way video chat can get pretty expensive.

Cam-to-cam is available on MDH, but you have to jump through hoops and then some.
