We looked at the top 20 streams – 2 of them were what we’d describe as active shows, with the other 18 featuring girls waiting for a private session. It’s nowhere near as publicly orientated as other spots, but there are free opportunities here if you’re on a budget.

There aren’t any steadfast rules with regard to what girls can and cannot do in their free chat area, but because of the financial incentives, performers tend to use this as a place to solicit private sessions.

Streamate has traditionally placed strict no-nudity rules on free shows. These rules have softened with topless shows now allowed.

There is a lack of consensus on what models can or can't display for free. Some models suggest that full nudity is fine so long as "no pink bits" are on display, i.e. no spreading. Others suggest veering on the safe side by saving any explicit content for private shows.

From a user's perspective, we don't see the value in choosing Streamate for free shows when there are other platforms that specialise in the freemium model.

Free chat mode is available in around 50% of XCams streams, but it is used almost exclusively to attract private customers. Hardly any explicit action is given away for free.

We trawled through the entire catalog of live free shows and didn't find any explicit material that would qualify XCams as a truly 'freemium' site. Most free cams involve the model flirting, posing or chatting -- waiting for her next private show to begin.

Of the 62 cameras scattered around Warehouse X, only 3-6 are accessible to free users. Combine this with a broadcasting schedule where rooms are often left empty... and you have a very limited viewing experience.

We can't imagine it's a coincidence that many of the wildest parties take place in lounge areas reserved from premium members only.

You get 20 minutes of free viewing before having to sign up for further access. It's not enforced very well, though - a simple switch between browsers restarted the timer.

September 2025 update: The site currently appears to be inactive.

Jerkmate has a 'no free nudity' policy, which is designed to promote private shows as the one and only way of getting to the good stuff. 

During our review, we noticed a couple of models flouting the rules with brief 'flashes' - kinda funny, if only because it's really not in their interest to perform free to the masses.

Even more bizarrely, the couples section ignores the rulebook completely. We tuned in with a guest account and the very first show served up five minutes of full blown penetrative sex.

Not a great choice.

You don’t need an account to check out girls who are in free chat mode, but there’s not much going on in these areas – except for a lot of teasing.

SakuraLive is using its $20 bonus sign-up to imply that its running a freemium site, but this simply is not the case.
